Dear Parents and Carers,

On behalf of the children, staff, and governors, I warmly welcome you to Saint Sebastian's Church of England Primary School. We are a small, happy school where strong, caring relationships between pupils, staff, parents, and governors create a nurturing and supportive environment for all.

Choosing the right school for your child is such an important decision, and I’m confident that Saint Sebastian's offers a safe, welcoming place where your child will be valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. With our Christian ethos at the heart of everything we do, we strive to provide the best possible education in an environment where each child can thrive.

At Saint Sebastian’s, we believe that learning should be joyful, and our passionate, dedicated staff are committed to providing a broad, balanced, and stimulating curriculum. Every child’s individual needs are carefully considered, ensuring that they are both challenged and nurtured to grow, not just academically but as holistic individuals.

We also offer a wide range of extracurricular clubs and enrichment activities that give our pupils the chance to explore their interests beyond the classroom. Whether it’s sports, music, art, or drama, our clubs provide opportunities for children to develop new skills, build confidence, and make lasting friendships. These activities complement our curriculum, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience for every child.

Our close connection with Saint Sebastian’s Church is a key part of our school life. We regularly visit the church for worship and celebrations, and we warmly invite parents and carers to join us in these special occasions. This partnership with the church is something we hold dear and it adds to the strong sense of community we are so proud of.

We also recognise how important the partnership between home and school is for your child’s development. We encourage parents to come into school at any time to discuss their child’s progress and well-being. We know that when home and school work hand-in-hand, children flourish, and we offer many opportunities for you to be involved in your child’s learning journey.

At Saint Sebastian’s, we are incredibly proud that our children leave us confident, capable, and well-prepared for the next stage in their education, having gained the skills and knowledge to thrive in secondary school and beyond. Their achievements are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and care shown by both the staff and the families that make up our wonderful school community.

I would be delighted to welcome you to visit our school – the children and I would love the opportunity to show you around. I look forward to working with you and your child, and to being part of your child's exciting educational journey at Saint Sebastian’s.

Warmest regards,
Ms. Sarah Cohen
