St Sebastian’s CE Primary School is looking for an exceptional teacher to take up this exciting opportunity to join their supportive and friendly team. St Sebastian’s Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an HLTA to work under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff to act as PPA cover across the whole school from EYFS – KS2 with a desirable, but not essential requirement, of previous experience in leading and facilitating outdoor learning or Forest School.
Duties include:
- Establishing positive nurturing relationships with pupils
- Supporting pupils with activities which support literacy and numeracy skills
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping keep pupils on track
- Assisting with displaying and presenting pupils’ work
- Assisting with taking pupils on educational visits
General requirements:
- Experience with, or a love of, working with young people
- An awareness of commitment to equality
- Basic understanding of health and safety
- Understanding and implementing child protection procedures
- Full HLTA Qualification
- Good literacy and numeracy skills

Are you keen to support, encourage and provide enjoyable care experiences for children? Are you capable of achieving and maintaining excellent standards of child care in our new breakfast and afterschool club provision?
We are seeking to employ an exceptional, highly motivated & enthusiastic supervisor to join our team. This role demands knowledge and responsibility to plan, organise and participate in activities for children aged 4 to 11 years old and to supervise and work as a team member ensuring that children are safely involved in stimulating activities.
Ideally, you will have previous experience of supervising or working within a care setting, or similar, and hold a Paediatric First Aid qualification and an NVQ Level 3 in childcare or equivalent. Although, training can be given. Variation to hours can be discussed, so all applications will be considered.
The Supervisor will be fully supported by the Head of School and a dedicated school support team. You will supervise and assist with the day-to-day operation of both the breakfast and after school club, ensuring all activities are delivered to the club’s high standards at all times. You will provide a safe and secure environment for the children in your care to explore, grow and have FUN!

We are seeking to employ a highly motivated and enthusiastic playworker to join our team. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can work 5 sessions per week in both Breakfast and After School, but all applications will be considered.
Whether you are a student interested in work outside of college/university hours, you currently work in childcare but are looking for additional hours or a fresh challenge, or you are looking to launch your career in childcare, we would love to hear from you.
